System Settings

Configure your Digibox Inventory system. Set up email and SMS notifications, SMTP settings, and customize system behavior.

General Settings

Company Name

Your organization name displayed throughout the system

Company Logo

Upload your logo for branding (displayed in sidebar and emails)

Currency

Default currency for displaying amounts (e.g., BDT)

Timezone

Set the timezone for accurate date/time display

Email Settings

Configure your mail server to enable email notifications:

SMTP Host

Your mail server address (e.g., smtp.gmail.com)

SMTP Port

Port number (typically 587 for TLS, 465 for SSL)

Username & Password

SMTP authentication credentials

Encryption

Choose TLS, SSL, or None for security

Test Email

After configuring SMTP, use the "Send Test Email" feature to verify your settings are working correctly.

SMS Settings

Configure SMS notifications for important alerts:

SMS Provider

Choose Digibox SMS, SSL Wireless, or BulkSMS Bangladesh

Sender ID

Your SMS sender ID (max 11 characters)

API Credentials

Client ID and Passkey from your SMS provider

Enable/Disable

Turn SMS notifications on or off

Test SMS

Send a test SMS to verify your SMS configuration is working properly before enabling notifications.

Notification Settings

Configure who receives which notifications:

Notification Types

  • New Request: When a new purchase request is submitted
  • Approval: When a request is approved
  • Rejection: When a request is rejected
  • Payment: When a payment is recorded
  • Low Stock: When inventory falls below threshold

Daily Summary Reports

Configure automated daily summary emails with customizable sections:

Pending Requests

List of purchase requests awaiting approval

Low Stock Alerts

Inventory items below reorder level

Recent Activity

Summary of approvals, payments, and transfers

Per-Section Recipients

Each summary section can be sent to different users. For example, send low stock alerts to inventory managers and pending requests to finance team.
