Deploy and return stock items

Stock Movements

Track items deployed to the field and returned. Monitor equipment usage and condition.

Administrator Access

Full access to all stock movements across all branches

Movement Types

Deploy

Issue items from inventory for field use

Return

Record items returned from deployment

Deploying Items

Navigate to Stock Movements

Click "Stock Movements" in the sidebar

Click "Deploy"

Start a new deployment record

Select Items

Choose items and quantities to deploy

Add Deployment Details

Record where/to whom items are being deployed

Recording Returns

When items are returned, record their condition:

Good

Item is in working condition

Faulty

Item needs repair

Dead

Item cannot be repaired

Movement Summary

The stock movements dashboard shows:

  • Total Deployed: Items currently in the field
  • Total Returned: Items returned from deployment
  • Good Returns: Items returned in working condition
  • Faulty Returns: Items needing repair
  • Dead Returns: Items beyond repair
Faulty Item Handling

Items returned as "Faulty" should be reviewed in the Faulty Items section for repair or write-off decisions.
